I won’t jibber jabber on like I have been. I actually wasn’t even going to post these on social media with the controversy over social distancing & no work, for what feels like FOREVER … well good thing this was a pro bono, me going to visit some friends & their handsome new little babe, kind of day. I just thought it would be fun to bring the Nikon with.
Let’s move on to the important stuff.
Little Henry here loved showing me his “crib”. His beautiful house. His gorgeous Mom & Dad. His loving puppy. But what made me have to share this with society, is one moment that we had while I was visiting. One of those “I will never forget this moment” kind of moments.
See Grandma Sue had this ADORABLE little Teddy Bear made by a seamstress. Some may know, while others do not, but this was made out of one of Henry’s Grandpa Jeff’s shirts ( And if my memory serves me correct the bowtie was made from his Great Grandmother Carol’s skirt) so all in all Mr. Teddy is VERY, VERY important. Naturally this is something we all wanted to take a few snaps of. As we got little Henry all snuggled in to Mr. Teddy we kind of smiled and thought “Wouldn’t it be something if he gave us a grin?”
Believe it or not, he started grinning and wouldn’t stop. Apparently in order to show off that growing dimple, he just needed his Teddy from Papa Jeff. Now, if you read ANY of my posts or blogs you will ALL know what happened next… yeppers. The goosebumps came on in full force & the tears started welling up. Let’s just say I had a few blurry shots as I tried to keep those tears to myself. It was one of those things, you can’t hardly explain.
You just have to be there.
