Because I thrive on making sure that images I take, reflect not only “Me” but all of the imperfections that come along with me. Be it a newborn shoot, a gorgeously planned wedding, a family gathering, or a simple car ride to the grocery store. Imperfections are sheer beauty. Now days it seems everybody is aiming for their “feeds” to be filled with all the stellar poses & winning moments in life. What if instead we posted our imperfect moments just as much if not more? That “feed” would more than likely be even more beautiful than the scripted one.
These lovelies stopped in yesterday for a newborn session to welcome the arrival of sweet, sweet Parker. She participated like a rockstar. Nailed every pose in record time all while sawing logs & dreaming of milk mustaches. Asher, now the middle cutie pie, wasn’t feeling the session. Which made it blog worthy. These “imperfect” poses, moments, shots once again topped my list. After all he is being himself & nothing less. Isn’t that EXACTLY what we ask of our little peeps?
Hand is up over here in the back. Oh and the photographer trying her darndest not to chuckle at the stubborn little boy who tried literally EVERYTHING to “not take the picture” probably didn’t help. Meh. It worked, right?
